Story
I find it’s easy to choose pessimism over optimism nowadays. When a situation arises, and our minds have the choice between seeing what good can come out of it versus fearing what bad things could happen, we tend to choose fear.
Now, I don’t want to speak for everyone, but I do feel like more people suffer from anxiety in our society today than ever before. Fear strikes, and we submit to it. Seeing the positive, hoping for the best, and actually committing to waiting for a good outcome seems to be harder and harder with each passing day. It’s just too easy for us to slip into a sense that nothing’s going to turn out okay.
I hope this isn’t the case for you, but if it is: I want to encourage you that things are going to turn out better than you realize.
